Rathlin Soils is a new Ohio Class II composting facility quickly accessible from both I-90 and State Route 2 in the City of Lorain. Area green waste generators now have a more convenient location to take material. Our state-of-the-art facility produces high-quality compost, organic potting mixes and custom-blended soils to meet the specific needs of any professional grower.

Rathlin Soils takes in green waste, food waste, manures and other clean organic material from partners looking for an easy and reliable drop-off experience. Material is tipped on a clean concrete pad to keep the process efficient in all weather and seasons. Because we produce a very high-quality compost, our inbound streams are monitored for consistency; highly contaminated loads will cannot be accepted.
